Complete an application form on the International Student Application System.



Step 4: Send a complete application packet to ISU either by email, fax or post

Print out the completed application form and submit it together with all required documents to ISU.

  • A financial statement issued by a bank within the most recent three months (in sealed envelope) as the proof of adequate financial support to cover the costs of studying at ISU (the account balance should be US$4,000 or NT$100,000 or more)
  • If the financial statement is not in the name of the applicant, a financial affidavit and a financial statement in the name of the sponsor must be provided
  • An applicant who has received an external scholarship should submit the proof of full scholarship.   




ISU International Student Scholarship

The scholarship amount for new international students ranges between NT$40,000 and NT$180,000 per person. The scholarship amount will be equally divided by two and awarded in two separate semesters after being approved by the Scholarship Committee for International Students.

The scholarship awards are classified below:
  • NT$120,000/year to cover full tuition fee
  • Tuition and incidental fees for 2 semesters
  • NT$60,000/year to cover partial tuition fee
  • 50% discount of tuition and incidental fees for 2 semesters

Study in Australia: RMIT University PhD Scholarships For Filipino.

RMIT University has partnered with Philippines Government, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to co-fund 10 PhD Scholarships per year, for Filipino citizens to undertake their PhD at RMIT. Scholarships cover tuition fees and living expenses. Funding from CHED has been made available as part of the CHED K-12 Transition Program and capacity building for Filipino university faculty.

Application Process
Applicants need to apply for academic admission to RMIT University before they can apply to CHED. Detailed information about the admissions process is available here. If academic applications are successful, applicants can apply to CHED for funding.

How to Apply to RMIT for Admission

Application for admission to RMIT University is online via the online system, iApply. Ensure you have pdf copies of your academic transcripts, testamurs/ awards, IELTS and English proficiency documents, research proposal and other supporting documents as you will be required to upload these to the online system.

Eligibility Criteria for CHED scholarships

Each applicant must:
  • Be a Filipino citizen;
  • Not be more than 52 years old for applicants to master’s degree programs, not more than 52 years old for applicants to doctoral degree programs;
  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree (for applicants to master’s degree programs) or a master’s degree (for applicants to doctoral degree programs) relevant to the graduate degree being sought;
  • Have a record of academic excellence, and show evidence of outstanding potential for professional advancement in teaching and/or administration;
  • Be in good health and of good moral character;
  • Have no pending criminal charges, and must not have been convicted for violation of any Philippine Law
  • Be conversant in English (TOEFL and/or IELTS results may be required for some host institutions).
  • Be committed to return to their Filipino home institution after completion of the PhD.
  • Meet the admissions requirements for RMIT PhD programs as outlined on the RMIT website.

Hull York Medical School Scholarship For International Medicine Students.

Every year Hull York Medical School award international scholarship to students based on academic merit and financial need. This scholarship is worth one-quarter (25%) of the overseas tuition fee for each year of successful study during the first two years of the MBBS course. The Hull York Medical School is a medical school in England which took its first intake of students in 2003. The school was opened as a part of the British Government's attempts to train more doctors, which also saw Brighton and Sussex Medical School, Peninsula Medical School and University of East Anglia Medical School open their doors. In 2017, the medical school was ranked 17th in the UK by The Guardian University Subject Guide and 17th by the Complete University Guide 2018.

Scholarship Conditions
  • Successful students will receive a 25% discount on overseas tuition fee for the first two years of successful study.
