KTH Royal Institute of Technology Admission Application Procedure.

KTH Royal Institute of Technology is a university in Stockholm, Sweden, specialized in Engineering and Technology. It is the school in Sweden from which most of the CEOs found on the Stockholm Stock Exchange has graduated, which makes KTH "Sweden's best school for chief executive officers (CEO)" at the Stockholm Stock Exchange. The international ranking organization ranks KTH highest in northern mainland Europe in its academic.

KTH Royal Institute of Technology Master’s program are two years program or less organized into five schools, where student can choose from more than 60 master’s programs taught in English. The programs present an opportunity for students with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to obtain a master's degree of the highest international standard. Among these programs are about 15 joint master’s programs given in collaboration with other prominent universities.

Free Tuition||Study in Norway: Application For Master Program In English at The University of Oslo

Application for admission is now currently on at The University of Oslo. As we all know that Norway offers free education for all, that is both local and international students.
The University of Oslo (UiO) is the oldest university in Norway, located in the Norwegian capital of Oslo. Until 1 January 2016 it was the largest Norwegian institution of higher education in terms of size, now surpassed only by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The Academic Ranking of World Universities has ranked it the 58th best university in the world and the third best in the Nordic countries. In 2015, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings ranked it the 135th best university in the world and the seventh best in the Nordics. While in its 2016, Top 200 Rankings of European universities, the Times Higher Education listed the University of Oslo at 63rd, making it the highest ranked Norwegian university.

The University of Oslo has approximately 27,700 students and employs around 6,000 people. The University offers admission once in a year and study starts in August every year. Most postgraduates courses are mostly taught in Norwegian, however there are some programs taught in English. Currently all undergraduates courses are taught in Norwegian.

Study in Canada: University of Calgary Pathways Medicine Scholarship Program For 2018/2019.

The University of Calgary is pleased to offer Pathways to Medicine Scholarship Program for the 2018-2019 academic session.

The University of Calgary (U of C or UCalgary) is a public research university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary started in 1944 as the Calgary branch of the University of Alberta, founded in 1908, prior to being instituted into a separate, autonomous university in 1966. It is composed of 14 faculties and over 85 research institutes and centres. The Cumming School of Medicine has designed the new Pathways to Medicine Scholarship program to support the enrollment and success of future MD students from traditionally under-represented groups throughout Alberta.

A group of dedicated general practitioners bring speciality training in family medicine to Calgary. A three-year residency for certification in General Practice is piloted at the Calgary General Hospital.

  • Note: Rural is defined as having graduated high school in a community of fewer than 15,000 inhabitants.

The Pathways to Medicine Committee will review the preliminary applications and shortlist based on two criteria: that the applicant fits with the vision of the pathways program and that the applicant demonstrates a strong academic ability. Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a full secondary application and take part in
an interview process with the committee.

Applicants will be informed of award decisions by the end of June 2019.

Tuition Fee
Most of the universities from Norway don’t charge tuition fees. The University of Bergen does not charge tuition fees which applies both to Norwegian and international students. This applies to all levels, including undergraduate studies, Masters programmes and Ph.D. programmes. The only fee to be paid at the University of Bergen is the semester fee to the Student Welfare Organisation (SiB), currently £53 (NOK 480).

McGill University and the Mastercard Foundation announces the availability of its fully-funded scholarships to economically challenged, academically gifted Master’s students from Sub-Saharan Africa through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. This scholarship program is designed to sponsor outstanding, community engaged students to attend university who otherwise would not have the opportunity, thereby, fostering the development of future Sub-Saharan African leaders and entrepreneurs.

Admission to a Graduate Diploma Program

The minimum University requirements for admission to a graduate diploma program are as follows:

a) a bachelor’s degree from Simon Fraser University, or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

b) a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5/4.33, or a grade point average of at least 2.67/4.33 (B-) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses, provided minimally 24 credits of appropriate course content for the program applied for have been completed within those 60 credits;

c) submitted evidence, usually references from qualified referees, of the student’s ability to undertake advanced work in the area of interest.

In exceptional circumstances, a student may be admitted with lower formal qualifications than in (a) when there is significant professional experience relevant to the proposed area of study.

Admission to a Master’s Program

The minimum University requirements for admission to a master’s program are as follows.

a) a bachelor’s degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

b) a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses. All graduate work is also considered. Individual graduate programs may set a higher admission grade point average;

c) submitted evidence, usually references from qualified referees, of the student’s ability to undertake advanced work in the area of interest.

In addition, some programs also require completion of entrance examinations such as the GMAT and GRE, and/or the submission of other material.

In exceptional circumstances, a student may be admitted with lower formal qualifications than in (a) or (b) when there is significant professional experience relevant to the proposed area of scholarship.

Admission to a Doctoral Program

The minimum University requirements for admission to a doctoral program are as follows.

a) either

i) a master’s degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

ii) a bachelor’s degree, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5/4.33, or a grade point average of at least 3.67/4.33(A-) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses. All graduate work is also considered. Individual graduate programs may set a higher admission grade point average. Students admitted directly from a bachelor’s degree must complete at least 50% of the course work units required for the relevant department’s master’s program if no course work is required as part of the doctoral degree;

iii) completion of at least 75% of the course work units required for the relevant department’s master’s program, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5. All graduate courses, whether completed at this University or at an equivalent post-secondary institution, shall be considered in the calculation. A student wishing to be admitted under this category (transferred to PhD) must have completed all of these requirements and initiated the transfer request within the first 6 semesters at SFU.

Bachelors Degree (Application procedure)
It is no longer possible to apply for the 2018-2019 academic year. Application for the 2019-2020 academic year is possible from October onward. We advise you to apply as early as possible. Admission requirements, application deadlines and application procedure depend on the program you choose. For detailed information see the webpages of the Bachelor’s program of your choice.

Admission Intakes
For most Master’s program you can apply at any time during the application period. However, because the number of places may be limited, we strongly recommend that you complete your application as early as possible. The sooner you complete your application, the sooner you will receive a decision on your admission.

How to apply
The five steps in the application process are:

1. Apply online for the program of your choice via Studielink.

2. You will receive an email with login details for OSIRIS Online Application, where you can upload the required documents. Here you will also be able to check the status of your application.

3. Pay the application fee, if applicable.

4. Once your application is complete, it will be processed and you will receive an admissions decision from the Graduate School. If you receive a (conditional) offer of a place, you must accept (or decline) this offer in OSIRIS Online Application.

5. If you receive an admissions offer, you will be asked to send in several certified documents. Download the instructions for applying to a Master’s program with a non-Dutch degree for more information.

Certified copies
A certified copy is a photocopy of your original diploma or transcript, carrying an official stamp and signature (in original ink) from the university that issued the original document.

In the Netherlands there are two types of tuition fees, statutory tuition fees and institutional tuition fees.

Costs of Studying and Living
If you are considering studying in Utrecht you will need to know what it costs to support yourself. During your stay in Utrecht you can expect to spend between €800 and €1,000 a month on living expenses. Tuition fees are not included in this amount. However, it depends on individual’s lifesyle.

AVERAGE LIVING EXPENSES
Accommodation (furnished, including utilities, individual/shared, etc.): 350 – 800 euro per month

Living expenses (food, clothes, personal services, public transport, etc.): 350 – 450 euro per month

Insurance (health, personal liability, etc.): 40 – 100 euro per month

Books / study material (depending on the degree program you choose): 65 – 85 euro per month.
