Required documents
Documentation of completed academic degrees or in-progress academic degrees (All academic documents should be in original language and translated into English by an authorized translator. The academic documents should also be certified).- In-Progress transcript of records translated into English.
- Diploma in original language and translated into English. However diplomas in Norwegian, Swedish, German, Spanish and French does not have to be translated.
Supporting documents to be uploaded as one document:
- copy of passport or national ID Card indicating citizenship
- a clear and precise statement of purpose
- CV
- two recommendation letters (should be on the university or company letterhead and signed by the concerned)
- Grade Point Average from your home university converted to the Danish weighted GPA
- Description of the grade scale used at your home university. In many cases this is stated on your academic transcript, or on the university website.
- Documentation to show English language proficiency. Please note that only IELTS, TOEFL, CAE Advanced or Pearson tests verified online by DTU will be accepted. Please make arrangements with the test centre to ensure that DTU has access to your online results. If you have not yet taken the test, you need to upload a document showing that you have registered for the test.
Steps on how to apply
Step 1: Meet academic requirements.
Academic requirements varies from program to program, be sure to check the specific requirements of your program.
Step 2: Complete online application form for Non-EU/EEA.
Once you meet the requirements you can proceed to apply online for admission application.
Step 3: Pay 100 euro nonrefundable application fee.
Non-EU/EEA Citizens have to pay an application fee of €100. Please note that applications will NOT be processed in the
absence of the application fees. On receipt of the application fees, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the applicants.
Deadline: January 15, 2018 for non-EU/EEA citizens.
March 1, 2018 for EU/EEA citizens.
