Education system in Finland is one of the best in the world with many of its institutions highly ranked globally. The joint application system in Finland is a single application system which allows prospective students to choose a maximum number of 6 study programme choices in other of preference.

1. Get to know your study options
The joint application system allows applicants to choose in order of preference. Your first choice should be placed at number 1 in order of priority.
2. Check eligibility
To be eligible for bachelor's studies you must have completed or about to complete your upper secondary school education. Required documents are:
- Upper secondary school leaving certificate
- SAT/Entrance exam: you can choose to provide SAT or write entrance exam which is usually organized in Finland and some other countries, therefore be sure to check your schools requirements.
- English Proficiency: some schools require applicants to have an English test certificate of either IELTS or TOEFL or PTE.
Applications are filled in and submitted through the national studyinfo portal. As long as you have answered all the compulsory questions, the "NEXT" button will be activated. If all the information on the summary page is correct, submit your application by clicking on the"Submit the Application" button. You can also save your application as a PDF file.
4. Collect required documents
Collect all required documents listed above. Write your application form number on all
enclosed documents, as well as in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope. Your application number is printed on the top right-hand corner of the application form.
5. Submit online application form and send required documents by post
Make sure that the required documents reach your first choice institution by the application deadline as late applications will not be processed.
6. Student Selection
Results and letters of acceptance or rejection will be sent via email.
Please note that student can only accept one study place, so be sure to arrange your priority accordingly.
