Study In Canada: University Of Toronto. How to Apply, Admission Requirements And Scholarships.

University of Toronto(U of T) is inviting applications from well-qualified students from around the world. The University of Toronto offers an exceptional range, choice and depth of study where undergraduate students can choose from 700 academic programs, learn from the best minds, get involved with research, take advantage of smaller learning communities and working

knit communities. U of T students tailor
their experiences to their interests and develop passions that help them make
their mark on the world. Approximately 18% of their student body is international, with students coming from 168 countries and regions.
The University of Toronto is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on the grounds that surround Queen's Park. It was founded by royal
charter in 1827 as King's College, the first
institution of higher learning in the colony of
Upper Canada. Originally controlled by the
Church of England, the university assumed the present name in 1850 upon becoming a secular institution. It comprises twelve colleges, which differ in character and history, each with substantial autonomy on financial and institutional affairs. It has two satellite campuses in Scarborough and
Mississauga.The University of Toronto has educated three Governors General of Canada and four Prime Ministers of Canada four foreign leaders, fourteen Justices of the Supreme Court, and has been affiliated with ten Nobel laureates.

The University Ranking by Academic Performance places the University of Toronto 2nd in the world in research performance. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings of 2016 ranks the University of Toronto at 22nd place globally and 1st in Canada, while the QS World University Rankings of 2017 placed the university at 31st in the world and 1st in
Canada. U of T is known for having a high enrollment of international students. In 2016-2017, 19.7% of students were
international. The University plans to grow
its international enrollment to 20.1% by 2021-2022.

International Undergraduate Studies:

If you are currently studying outside of Canada or if your most recent academic experience was outside Canada you are considered as an international student.
Admission Requirements
* High School Diploma and Transcript
* English language proficiency test. IELTS(minimum requirements is an overall band of 6.5, with no band below 6.0 or TOEFL(Internet-based test, minimum requirements: total score of 100+22 on Writing. Paper-based test, minimum requirements: total score of 600+5.0 on TWE.
Conditional offers of admission will be made based on your previous year grades and your mid-term tests results.

International Postgraduate Studies:

If you are attending or have attended a recognized university or college and have a strong academic records, you will be considered for admission based on your degree studies and your most recent annual average.
