Bowling Green State University is a public university with the main academy and residence campus lying on an expanse of 1,338-acre located 25km South of Toledo, Ohio. The university was established in 1910 as a normal school, specializing in teacher training and education, as part of the Lowry Normal School Bill that authorized two new normal schools in the state of Ohio. Over the university's history, it developed from a small rural normal school into a comprehensive public university.

Bowling Green State University offers over 200 undergraduate programs, as well as master's and doctoral degrees through eight academic colleges. Its academic programs have been nationally ranked by Forbes magazine, U.S. News and World Report, and Washington Monthly.

• Scanned copies of official or unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended.
• Some programs may also require recommendations, a statement of purpose, a resume, and other documents.
• International applicants are required to submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). 
• If you plan to apply to more than one program, you must submit a separate application and application fee for each.
