The London School of Economics (LSE) is a public research university located in London, England and a constituent college of the federal University of London. Founded in 1895 by Fabian Society members Sidney Webb, Beatrice Webb, Graham Wallas, and George Bernard Shaw for the betterment of society, LSE joined the University of London in 1900 and established its first degree courses under the auspices of the University in 1901. The LSE has awarded its own degrees since 2008, prior to which it awarded degrees of the University of London. LSE, located in Westminster central London, is famous for the following fields of study: Economics, Law, and Social Science. The LSE is also a member of academic organisations such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the European University Association.

How to apply
LSE receives all applications via UCAS. Applications made directly to the School won’t be considered. For 2018/19 academic session, UCAS opens for September 2019 entry on 5 September 2018. The last date for the receipt of applications to LSE to qualify for full and equal treatment is 15 January 2019 by 18.00 (GMT)
