The University of Bath UK is now offering The new Euromasters Scholarships to study the MA Contemporary European Studies (Euromasters) course. This scholarship is available to Home/EU and Overseas students.

The University of Bath is a public university located in Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom. It received its royal charter in 1966. Bath can trace its roots to the Merchant Venturers Navigation School, established in Bristol in 1595.

The university’s main campus is located on Claverton Down. The University of Bath is now firmly established as a top ten UK university with a reputation for research and teaching excellence.



Applicants must have a first or upper second class honours degree (or equivalent) to be eligible for this scholarship. For most programmes, the requirement for non-native English speakers is 6.5 in the IELTS Academic English test, with no less than 6.0 in any element.

Scholarship Benefits
External Euromasters Scholarship
Funding includes:

• Full fee scholarship for the first academic year and (£4,750 Home/EU, £7,500 Overseas)
• Half fee scholarship for the second academic year (£2,500 Home/EU, £3,750 Overseas)

Internal Euromasters Scholarship
Funding includes:

• The scholarship is worth the equivalent of £15,000 covering both years of study.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following requirements:

External Euromasters Scholarship

• You must have the equivalent of a first class Honours degree or, an exceptionally high 2:1 degree to be considered.

Internal Euromasters Scholarship

• If you’re a current undergraduate student at the University of Bath and apply for the MA Contemporary European Studies (Euromasters) course, then you will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
• To be successful, you must have a minimum of a projected 2:1.

Application Procedure

• Upload a Word Document when you apply for the course, along with your other documents.
• You must submit no more than 500 words detailing why you should be considered. You should base this on your academic achievements and contributions to the course.
