Study in Lithuania: Application For Admission And Scholarships At Kaunas University of Technology.

Application for admission and scholarships is currently open at Kaunas University of Technology for Bachelor's, Master's and PhD Programmes offered at the university. Kaunas University of Technology offers 16 Bachelor’s, 24 Master’s and 19 PhD programmes in English in a variety of fields. 2018 Mahidol Postgraduate Scholarships for Graduate International Students.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies, in collaboration with faculties, institutes, and colleges in Mahidol University, is delighted to announce the 2018 Mahidol Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students who which to pursue their master's and doctoral degrees at the university. The aim of the scholarships is to provide educational opportunities and encourage diversity that serves not only to increase the number of scholars and researchers in various disciplines, but also to build strong connection between Mahidol University and the awardee's country of residence. 50 full scholarships and 450 partial scholarships which covers tuition fee, health insurance, travel allowance, etc. will be awarded to successful international students.

Mahidol University (MU) is an autonomous research institution in Thailand. Becoming the University of Medical Science in 1943, it has been recognized as the country's fourth public university. The university originally focused on health sciences but also expanded to other fields in recent decades. Today, MU offers a range of graduate (mostly international) and undergraduate programs from natural sciences to liberal arts with remote campuses in Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Sawan, and Amnat Charoen provinces. Scholarships Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be an international students aiming to pursue their master's or doctoral degrees at Mahidol University in the academic year 2018.

Requirements for master's students
Applicant must:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.25
  • Submit either of the following English proficiency test scores:

• IELTS Academic of 5 or higher;
• TOEFL iBT of 54 or higher;
• TOEFL PBT of 480 or higher;
• MU Grad test of 60 or higher.

Requirements for Doctoral degree
Applicant must:
  • Hold a master's degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.50 (special consideration will be given to applicants who have publications in internationally-recognized academic journal; evidence of publications must be submitted with application).
  • Submit either of the following English proficiency test scores:

• IELTS Academic of 5 or higher;
• TOEFL iBT of 61 or higher;
• TOEFL PBT of 500 or higher;

  • All applicants must obtain a Letter of Acceptance from Mahidol University for the academic year 2018 from their enrolled programmes.
  • Eligible candidates are to submit their application form through the programmes in which they have enrolled.

Full Scholarships
The full-time scholarships will be awarded to 50 students which covers the following:

Partial Scholarship
The partial scholarships will be awarded to 450 students, the scholarships will cover selected education related expenses and not include stipend or allowance. It covers the following:

Required Documents

Applicants applying for bachelor's degree programmes at Brandon University must possess one of the following certificates:

GCE: Must have passes in five different subjects of which at least two must be passed at the Advanced level or passes in four different subjects of which at least three must be passed at the advance level.

WAEC/NECO: Minimum of 5 subjects at C5 or better including English and Mathematics. Students must email to the Admissions Office their Serial Number, PIN Number, Candidate/Registration Number Examination and Exam date. The two results cannot be combined.

HKDSE: Students with the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education will require a minimum level 3 in all core subjects, (English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies). Students must also satisfy the English language proficiency requirement applicable to all international students whose primary language is not English.

International Baccalaureate: Students with an International Baccalaureate Diploma with an overall score of 24 points are considered to have the equivalent of Manitoba High School Graduation for purposes of admission to Brandon University. The IB Diploma must contain at least three Higher Level courses, with the remaining courses being either the Higher Level or the Standard Level

English Proficiency Requirements

International students whose native language is not English are required to submit evidence of proof of English proficiency. The following are accepted:
  • C1 Advanced: 176
  • CPE: C
  • IELTS Academic: overall 6.5
  • PTE Academic: 58

The FEBE International Engineering and Technology Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship is now available to postgraduate students at University of Newcastle. The scholarship which was established to encourage and support academically gifted International students to study a postgraduate coursework program will be awarded to 50 students in the 2018/2019 academic year. The scholarship is worth up to $18,000 and will be awarded to new International students as well as those international students who have completed undergraduate studies at the University of Newcastle. The University of Newcastle (UoN) is an Australian public university established in 1965. It has a primary campus in Callaghan, a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales. The university also operates campuses in Ourimbah, Port Macquarie, Singapore, Newcastle CBD and Sydney CBD.   • Be studying on-campus with University of Newcastle in Australia.
  • Be an International full-fee paying student.
  • Be enrolled full-time (minimum 30 units).
  • Meet the tiered GPA entry level requirements (minimum GPA of 4.5).
  • Not hold another scholarship for the same program of equivalent or more substantial benefit in current or previous study.

Award

The scholarship award varies with GPA entry:
  • AUD$3,000 payable as tuition fee waiver, for each semester of eligible study for students with GPA 5.5 at entry.
  • AUD$2,000 payable as tuition fee waiver, for each semester of eligible study for students with GPA 5.0 at entry.
  • AUD$1,000 payable as tuition fee waiver, for each semester of eligible study for students with GPA 4.5 at entry.

The total scholarship award ranges from $6000 to $18,000 over the maximum three (3) year duration of the scholarship, provided eligibility is maintained.

Selection criteria

No application is required for this scholarship.

Scholarships will be awarded automatically to students upon application to study an eligible FEBE, Engineering or Technology Postgraduate Coursework degree program at the University of Newcastle.

Cranfield Defence and Security are delighted to offer women Cyber Leaders Scholarship. Cranfield University welcomes applications from female students from all around the world wishing to develop a career in Cyber. The scholarship is worth £6,500 towards tuition fees to study MSc Cyber Defence and Information Assurance. Cranfield University is a British postgraduate and research-based public university specialising in science, engineering, technology and management. It contains two campuses: the main campus is at Cranfield, Bedfordshire, and the second is at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom at Shrivenham, southwest Oxfordshire. If you wish to be considered for this Scholarship you will have to indicate your interest on the course application highlighting your achievements and reasons that you should receive the scholarship along with a short essay of approximately 500 words on the topic of ‘Cyber’s role in the Defence and Security sector’. The essay will be judged by a Cranfield panel with the scholarship awarded to the author of the best essay.

Study in Estonia: Tallinn University Bachelor's Degree Application Procedure, Requirements and Deadlines.

Application to apply for admission and scholarships is now open at Tallinn University for international students. Prospective bachelor's students can apply to any of the six programmes offered in English at the university. Tallinn University (TU) is a public research university in Estonia. Located in the centre of Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia. With over 8,000 degree students, 37 full-time employees and 409 academic staff, Tallinn University remains the third largest provider of higher education in Estonia. Among the degree students, 8.7% were international representing over 40 countries worldwide. In 2018, Tallinn University placed 69th in the EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia) rankings published by Quacquarelli Symonds, up from 87th in the 2016 edition. Step 2: Fill out and confirm registration
You will be taken to the form registration–Basic User. The fields with a yellow outline are mandatory. Enter your correct information.
1. Your Master data including title, name, and date of  birth
2. Account data including your preferred language for any correspondence and an  email address. All information needed to activate your RWTHonline account will be  sent to the email address provided.
3. Confirm the information you entered and make sure everything is correct.

Step 3: Review information and send
As soon as you have confirmed your information, review your entries. If you would like to correct an entry, click BACK and make the changes and then click on CONFIRM DATA again. When everything is correct, click SUBMIT DATA.

Step 4: Email Confirmation
After submitting your registration you will receive an email confirming your registration data for RWTHonline. The email includes a link, which you can use to activate your account. You must activate your account within 7 days. After 7 days the link becomes invalid. After successfully activating your account, you can log on to RWTHonline using the password you created.

Step 5: Upload documents
All required documents by RWTH Aachen must be uploaded as a PDF file, once you have uploaded the necessary documents click on SUBMIT.

University of Kent International Scholarships for Undergraduate Students.

The University of Kent is pleased to offer a number of scholarships to first year international undergraduate students. The scholarships are worth £5,000 per academic year of study at university of Kent, towards tuition fee and is available to all nationals of any country. The University of Kent, is a semi-collegiate public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is recognised as a Beloff's plate glass university. Criteria

To be eligible for consideration for a scholarship, all of the conditions listed below must have been satisfied:
  • an application must have been made for an undergraduate degree course at the University of Kent, beginning in September;
  • the applicant must have received an offer of a place (conditional or unconditional) on a degree course;
  • the applicant must have been assessed as an overseas fee payer.
  • the University must have received confirmation of the applicant's firm acceptance of the offer by the deadline date
  • Students who choose Kent as their insurance place will not be eligible for the Scholarship.

How to apply

Applications for the International Scholarship must be made via your application portal. Once logged in, click on My Scholarships and Bursaries. You will then see a list of scholarships that you may be eligible to apply for. You will be able to apply for the International Scholarship once you have received an offer. Click on Apply and follow the steps to submit your application. As part of your application you will need to upload an essay, which should be submitted as either a Word or PDF document. Write no more than 750 words on a topic about which you are passionate and which is relevant to your selected degree programme.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the information provided on your UCAS form, together with motivation shown in the submitted essay.

General Entry Requirements
GCE/GCSE
  • The minimum requirements are:
  • five passes at GCSE grade C (or grade 4) or above, including English Language or Use of English (IGCSE English as a Second Language, grade B or grade 6), and at least two subjects at A level OR
  • three passes at GCE A level and a pass at grade C (or grade 4) or above in GCSE English Language or Use of English.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma

In order to enter directly on to a degree programme, you also need to show evidence of your proficiency in English language

  • PTE Academic:- 62 overall with 60 in each subtest
  • CAE/CPE:- 176 overall (with a minimum of 169 in R&W; 162 in S&L)

Chinese Government Scholarship of Wuhan University For Graduates.

In order to attract more outstanding students from renowned universities across the globe, Wuhan University is inviting international students to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarships at their university. The scholarship is supported by the Chinese Government and approved by the Chinese Government Council to provide full scholarships to excellent students from all over the world for Master’s and Doctoral programmes. Scholarship Criteria

  • The scholarship only supports master’s students for no more than 3 years or doctoral students for no more than 4 years.
  • Duration of the scholarship cannot be extended in general.
  • Scholarship students can register for either Chinese-taught program or English-taught program if applicable.

How to apply

  • Register and submit your online application at the CSC Online Application System for International students. Wuhan University code is 10486. Download and print a hard copy of the completed “Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship”.
  • Register and submit your online application at Wuhan University Online Application System for International Students, submit online the completed “Application Form for International Scholars and Students of Wuhan University” and other application documents required as follows, download and print a hard copy of the completed application form.
  • Send 2 sets of the necessary documents as below to Wuhan University by DHL or EMS. The application documents should be arrange according in the following order.

Application documents (all in duplicate)

  • Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship(written in Chinese or English), the form should be signed.
  • Application Form for International Scholars and Students of Wuhan University(written in Chinese or English), the form should be signed.
  • Notarized highest diploma (degree certificate) and transcripts (the original and copy of each one): to be issued directly by the educational administration office of the school/university, with an official stamp. Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by their current school to prove their current student status, expected degree certificate and graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
  • Study Plan, 800 words or above, written in Chinese or in English.
  • Two Recommendation Letters from either professors or associate professors, in Chinese or English.
  • Scanned copy of valid passport.
  • Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy), filled in English or Chinese. The Physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.
  • Valid HSK certificate (if available), as for Non-native English applicants, valid English level certificate is required if applying for English taught program (e. g TOEFL or IELTS).
  • Acceptance Letter from the professor of Wuhan University(if available).

Qualified applicants will be informed of the evaluation of their result around the middle of May, and the final result of scholarship winners will be informed at the end of June. The official admission document will be delivered from the beginning of July.

Note
  • Scholarship will not be reserved if the scholarship recipient cannot register before the registration deadline.
  • Scholarship students shall not change their host university, field of study, or duration of study unless they give up the grant.
  • Scholarship students must take an annual evaluation.

Australia Awards Scholarships For South And East Asian.

Australia Awards Scholarships is now open for citizens from South and East Asia. The award which is funded by the Australian Government is offered to upcoming leaders to undertake study, professional and research development in Australia. The aim of the award is to enable scholars to acquire additional skills and cultivate networks which will help them contribute to the development of their home countries. University of Hertfordshire Graduate Scholarships For UK/EU and International Students.

University of Hertfordshire is currently offering graduate scholarships to their alumni students. The value of the scholarships is 20% tuition fee reduction and is awarded to graduate students who have a Bachelor's Degree from University of Hertfordshire or at their partner institutions overseas. The aim of the scholarship is to set up recognition of importance to the alumni community by rewarding undergraduate students who have returned to study any of their postgraduate programmes. The University ofHertfordshire (UH), established in 1952 is a university in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. The university is based largely in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. University of Hertfordshire ranks 501–600 among world universities by Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2015. In another league table released by Times Higher Education in January 2015, Hertfordshire ranks 84th in the top 100 most international universities in the world.



Entry Requirements For Admission
  • A recent, good bachelors degree (e.g. honours degree from the UK) or equivalent.

Conditions and Eligibility Criteria for scholarship
The University of Hertfordshire Graduate Scholarship is available to self-funded University of Hertfordshire graduates* (UK/EU and international) for their first full year of full-time or all years of part-time (UK/EU only) postgraduate or doctoral study at the University.

The Graduate Scholarship is available to students who have:
  • graduated from a University of Hertfordshire undergraduate degree (either studied in the UK or at a partner institution overseas) and are starting a new postgraduate taught course at the University. Or
  • graduated from a University of Hertfordshire undergraduate or postgraduate degree (either studied in the UK or at a partner institution overseas) and are starting a new doctoral (PhD) course at the University.

The value of the Graduate Scholarship is a fee deduction equivalent to 20% of the tuition fee due for the first year of full-time postgraduate study and (for UK/EU students only) 20% of the fee due for all years of part-time postgraduate or doctoral study. However in all instances, the Graduate Scholarship is not applicable to tuition fees due for repeating modules.

The Graduate Scholarship is available for a range of postgraduate taught programmes offered by the University. These include Masters awards, those at Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma level (but excluding the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), the Certificate in Professional Studies, some vocational or professional practice certificates and short courses). It is not available for MSc Global Business.

If the eligibility criteria is met, the scholarship will be awarded to a University of Hertfordshire undergraduate for the first postgraduate or doctoral programme of study undertaken only. If subsequent postgraduate or doctoral programmes are undertaken they will be charged at full price.

Graduates must:
  • have been offered and accepted a place on a full-time or part-time (UK/EU only) award-bearing University of Hertfordshire programme;
  • be paying the full cost of the tuition fee from their own resources (including a Career Development Loan) direct to the University of Hertfordshire, and not sponsored for any part of the fee by an organisation such as an employer, charitable body or government department. (Any contribution by an external organisation to the student's living costs, or a contribution from the student's family to the fee or living costs, does not count as sponsorship under this scheme).

International Students who are successfully awarded the UH Graduate Scholarship are still eligible for the £500 tuition fee discount if they pay in full at registration.

NOTE
There is no need to apply for the UH Graduate Scholarship–it will be automatically awarded if you are eligible and your tuition fee will be reduced accordingly.
