Study in Lithuania: Application For Admission And Scholarships At Kaunas University of Technology.

Application for admission and scholarships is currently open at Kaunas University of Technology for Bachelor's, Master's and PhD Programmes offered at the university. Kaunas University of Technology offers 16 Bachelor’s, 24 Master’s and 19 PhD programmes in English in a variety of fields. With 550 international students coming from more than 40 countries, Kaunas University of Technology has been considered as one of the best technical universities in the Baltic States. Established in 1922, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is a public research university located in Kaunas, Lithuania. Since establishment the university has produced more than 125,000 graduate and has issued over 1,000 doctoral, and 62,000 bachelor's and master's degrees.

Application Requirements

• Official legalised documents of previous education (high school diploma and university diploma, if any) including an academic transcript;
• Copy of a passport or an ID card;
• English language proficiency certificate (IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent) showing knowledge of English language. Below are the minimum requirements:

Requirement for Bachelor students
• IELTS Academic: 5.5
• TOEFL iBT: 75
• CEFR: Level B2

Requirement for Master student:
• IELTS Academic: 6.0
• TOEFL iBT: 85
• CEFR: Level C1

• List of publications as well as a motivation letter (only for applicants to Master programmes).

All of the official documents have to be presented either in English or Lithuanian language. Verification from the Notary for English and Lithuanian translation of all written documents is required.

Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) Scholarships

KTU may award scholarships for applicants with outstanding qualifications and for good academic results throughout studies (for all citizens). KTU also acknowledges possible grants from your home institutions and/or other relevant foundations/organisations. Applicants should note that the scholarships is automatic and there is no separate application for it.
