Application For Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) At Odisee University College.

Application to apply for admission to Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) is now currently open at Odisee. Established in 2014, Odisee (University College Odisee) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in Brussels, Belgium. The institution also has campuses in Aalst, Dilbeek, Gent, and Sint-Niklaas. The university is officially accredited and recognized by the Flemish Ministry of Education.



Required documents
  • A copy of the identity page of your passport or a copy of your Belgian residence permit. (For EU/EEA citizens: a copy of your national ID card is also sufficient).
  • A certified copy of your secondary school diploma. If diploma is not in English, Dutch, French or German it must be translated to one of these languages by a registered translator. The copy of the translation must also be certified by the educational institution that issued the diploma or by a national authority. If you have not completed your secondary school studies at the time of application, you can send an intermediate transcripts as well as a document issued by your school that states that you are expected to graduate before the start of the 2018/2019 academic year. (If you are admitted you will still need to submit your final transcripts and a certificate of graduation upon enrolment). Please note that a certified copy is a copy that has been certified by the awarding institution (secondary school, (university) college, university), a Belgian municipality, or a copy with an Apostil of the Hague.
  • A certified copy of any diploma and/or transcripts of academic records you already obtained at an institution of higher education (if any). The diploma must be translated by an official translator if the original document is not in English, Dutch, French or German.
  • An English language proficiency test must be submitted by all applicants to prove their proficiency in English. Accepted English proficiency test score by Odisee are:

* TOEFL - minimum score IBT 79, CBT 213 or PBT 550 ( Odisee institutional code: 7039)
* IELTS - minimum overall band score 6.5  
* ESOL Cambridge: Odisee accept the Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) and the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). The First Certificate of English (FCE) is not accepted.

Exemption
The following applicants are exempted from submitting English language proficiency certificate:
* Applicants who obtained a secondary school diploma or university (college) degree in Australia, English speaking Canada, the Caribbean Islands, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom or the USA. (Your certified degree and transcripts suffice as proof, provided they confirm that the entire study was completed in English).
* Applicants who have obtained a secondary school diploma or university (college) degree in Flanders or the Netherlands.

  • A motivation letter (recommended size: one A4 page).
  • A recent passport-size photograph.
  • All applicants are required to provide a letter of reference, either written and signed by an education authority (i.e. a professior at high school, college, university) or an employer.
  • Proof of payment of the 75 EUR (non-refundable) application fee.

Please note that all non-EU/EEA nationals without permanent residency in Belgium have to pay a 75 EUR application fee (excluding any additional banking fees). The application fee is only payable via bank transfer. EU/EEA nationals do not have to pay the application fee.

  • All mainland Chinese citizens who are not in possession of a non-Chinese degree are required to submit an APS certificate.

Deadlines
May 1, 2018: for applicants from non-EU/EEA countries who require a visa to study in Belgium

August 15, 2018: for EU/EEA nationals and non-EU/EEA nationals currently residing in Belgium with a valid residence permit (valid until 31 October 2018 or longer).
