Webster Vienna Private University is the Austrian branch of Webster University in St. Louis, USA and is the only American university in Austria. Webster Vienna became the first institution to offer an accredited MBA program in Austria and also the first and only American university to receive the Austrian private university accreditation. The university offers master and undergraduate programmes entirely in English.



How to apply for admission
Undergraduate programme

1. Completely fill out your online application form and Submit.
2. Once you have submitted your online application form, you can attach your documents and upload them into your application. A list of the required documents are listed below:

• A completed online application form.
• A copy of the biographical page of your passport.
• Application fee should be paid by credit card (USD 35 non-refundable). Instructions of payment on application form.
• Undergraduate applicants should possess a completed high school degree and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Academic documents: Official transcripts. Please scan and upload your transcripts into your online application first and provide official, original documentation upon request. 
• Transfer students must also include official transcripts of all university work for a possible transfer credit evaluation.
• All academic transcripts must be in English. If they are not in English, you need to send us an official certified English translation thereof attached to a copy of the original transcript
• An essay: Your admission essay should be a new, original work, written by you specifically for this application. It should demonstrate your writing ability, including good structure, correct use of grammar, the extent of your vocabulary etc. Your essay can be submitted in your online application.
•  A resume or a list of activities and achievements.
• One letter of recommendation from a counselor or teacher/professor.
• English proficiency results from either a TOEFL or IELTS test.
• If you attended/are attending an international or U.S. high school, you are recommended to submit SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores (Optional).

English Proficiency Test
Language test is waived:

• When students have attended an international school for a minimum of four years (must submit those high school transcripts)
• Citizens of the following countries: USA, Canada (except Quebec), UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand

Webster University accept several different English Proficiency Exams.
Undergraduate Students:

• TOEFL iBT - minimum overall score of 80
• IELTS Academic - mininum overall score of 6.0
• Cambridge Advanced Certificate (CAE only) - score A, B, C

IB Diploma:
HL English A - minimum score of 4
HL English B - minimum score of 5
SL English A - minimum score of 5
SL English B - minimum score of 6.

Graduate Students

• TOEFL iBT - min. overall score of 80
• IELTS Academic - min. overall score of 6.5

Webster Vienna Scholarships
Webster Vienna encourages all incoming undergraduate (bachelor), transfer, and graduate (master) students with exceptional academic achievement and proven financial need to apply for a Webster Vienna Scholarship. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on the American 4-point scale. Webster Vienna Scholarships for undergraduate students cover between 10-50% (with no award exceeding 50%), while graduate scholarships cover between 10-25% of tuition for accepted applicants.

Eligibility
A newly accepted undergraduate, graduate, or transfer student (with less than 90 hours of transfer credits) who has a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and outstanding spoken and written English well above the English as a Second Language level.

Conditions
Must be enrolled full-time (24 credits/year undergraduate, 12 credits/year graduate) and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 each semester for renewal.
