Admission Requirements
- Your passport or personal ID
- A passport photograph
- Your bachelor certificate and your transcripts with the required legalisation from the issuing country
- A translation by a court-sworn translator of the above mentioned documents (if not issued in English or German)
- Proof of English proficiency
- GRE General Test: An admission to the master programmes in Banking and Finance and Economics is only possible after passing the section of "quantitative reasoning“ of the GRE revised General Test with at least 150 points. The test result must not be older than two years.
Please Note
- Your post-secondary degree has to be closely related to the master programme you intend to study at the University of Vienna.
- At the University of Vienna, non-EU/ EEA citizens with a bachelor degree from a non-EU/EEA country may only study the same degree programme which they are allowed to study in the country that issued their degree (= the special university entrance qualification, "admission statement").
Application Procedure
Step 1: Prepare required documents
Scan all required documents (in high resolution) and create PDF files. All pages of one document as well as its legalisation and/or translation have to be merged into one single PDF file by means of an online tool of your choice (i.e. bachelor certificate + legalisation + translation, special entrance qualification for university studies + translation, etc.). All your files have to be easily readable and in high quality.
Step 2: Apply online
Register during the application period and activate your account. Login, select the degree programme of your choice and upload the required documents as separate PDF files. Then click on "submit application". The Admission Office can only process your application if the status is "submitted".
