University of Westminster Fully Funded Scholarships For International Undergraduate Students.

A number of undergraduate scholarships are now available to new international students from developing countries to study at The University of Westminster. The scholarship is fully funded covering full tuition fee award, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. To be considered for the scholarship you must have an excellent academic background, financial need and development potential.

The University of Westminster is a public university in London, United Kingdom. The university's academic activities are organised into seven faculties and schools, within which there are around 45 departments. The University has numerous centres of research excellence across all the faculties, including the Communication and Media Research Institute, whose research is ranked in the Global Top 40 by the QS World University Rankings.

Scholarship Amount
Full tuition fee award, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Eligibility
You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. For the list of developing countries, please see the list below. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

The following countries are termed "developed". If your country is not on the below list, then you are eligible to apply.

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Vatican City

Criteria
Academic excellence, financial need and development potential.

Please take into account the following when making your application:
  • Your application must be typed, not handwritten.
  • Please complete all sections of the application form. Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
  • Make sure you provide all required supporting documents. Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
  • Do not submit more than the requested documentation. Also, do not send original documents, as it cannot returned.
  • International undergraduate and postgraduate students can only apply for one type of scholarship.
  • Spend time on your application. You are in competition with some of the strongest students in the world so spend as much time as necessary creating a polished, professional and persuasive application.
  • Do not exceed the word limit given for any section of the application. Be precise.
  • Check your application for spelling and grammar errors.
  • Make a complete copy of the application before you send it.

Please note that you can only apply for a scholarship once you have applied for admission for a place on the course you wish to study and been offered either a conditional or unconditional offer. No scholarship application will be accepted without an admission offer.

Also note that you can only apply for ONE type of scholarship, so please do not submit any other applications forms for any other level of funding.

Required Documents
As well as completing the relevant Scholarship application form, you will need to provide the following supporting documents:
  • A copy of the letter/email from the University of Westminster confirming your conditional or unconditional offer of a place on your chosen course.
  • An official copy of your transcript from your most recent/current academic study.
  • A reference letter written specifically in support of your scholarship application. This should be written by a previous tutor, professor, academic or employer (where relevant to your chosen degree course) and cannot be the same reference provided as part of your admission application.
  • Certified translations of any supporting documents written in languages other than English must be provided.
