The University of Warwick School of Engineering Taught Masters Scholarship.

The School of Engineering at The University of Warwick is currently offering Taught Masters Scholarship to prospective MSc students. The decisions of the scholarships are based on merit and candidates will be considered by their academic qualifications.

The University of Warwick is a plate glass research university in Coventry, England. It was founded in 1965 as part of a government initiative to expand access to higher education. The university has 32 departments, around 25,600 full-time students and 2,400 academic and research staff. Warwick consistently ranks in the top ten of all major domestic rankings of British universities. It was ranked 7th in the UK amongst multi-faculty institutions for the quality (GPA) of its research and 14th for its Research Power in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework. Warwick has been ranked as the world's 20th best university based on employer reputation.

The Award: The School of Engineering is offering:
  • Up to 2 scholarships at £10k
  • Up to 3 scholarships at £7.5k
  • Up to 4 scholarships at £5k

Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must hold an offer for admission on one of the following courses:
  • MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering
  • MSc in Biomedical Engineering
  • MSc in Communications and Information Engineering
  • MSc in Energy and Power Engineering
  • MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies
  • MSc in Tunnelling and Underground Space

How to apply
Step 1: Research your chosen area
Look through your program of interest here. Find out as much as possible about your
chosen course or research idea.

Step 2: Apply online
Most postgraduate programs application can be done online. Click here for postgraduate online application form.

Step 3: Pay application fee
If you are applying for a postgraduate taught course, you will need to pay the application assessment fee of £55.

If you are applying for a postgraduate research course, you will not need to pay an application assessment fee.

Step 4: Include email address of referee(s)
Applicants should be sure to include an email address of their referee(s) as the university will contact them. Typically the university ask for one academic reference for postgraduate taught and two academic references for postgraduate research courses.

Step 5: Upload documents
The university will email you with a link to upload your documents online and if you have not taken an English language test at the point of application, then your result can be submitted at a later date.
