50 International Students Scholarship at Durham University Business School.

Durham University is delighted to offer scholarships for 50 international students, available across all MSc programmes. The Scholarship is worth up to £5,000 - applied against academic tuition fees. Durham University Business School is the business school of Durham University located in Durham, England. It was Established in

1965 and it holds triple accreditation (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS). The university is currently ranked between 9th and 75th in the world for its MBA and MSc programmes by the Financial Times, The Economist and the Expansión. Durham University Business School provides courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Undergraduate courses include Bachelor's degrees in the fields of economics, finance, business, marketing and accounting. Postgraduate degrees are offered in management, marketing, finance and economics, including MBA, MA, MSc, DBA and PhD. Courses are offered in full-time, part-time and distance

learning formats.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be considered for the Scholarship applicant must:

• be an international student for MSc programmes in 2018/19
• hold an academic offer for an MSc programme by 31 May 2018.

Candidates will be automatically considered for this scholarship; no separate scholarship application is necessary. Successful recipients will be informed by 23 June 2018. The scholarships will be awarded to outstanding candidates displaying exceptional academic merit. The successful recipient will be expected to contribute to the wider marketing and outreach activity of Durham University Business School.

Admission Requirements

The standard minimum entry requirement to study a postgraduate programme at Durham University is normally achievement of an upper second class UK honours degree (2:1) or equivalent qualification and two satisfactory academic references. Steps on how to apply

Step 1: Fill online application form

There are six different application form types available via the online application system:

• MBA
• Postgraduate Research (applicants for a professional doctorate, e.g. in Education -EdD - or Business - DBA - should use this form)
• Postgraduate Taught
• Pre-Sessional English Language
• Student Records Form
• Summer School - International

Just select the appropriate application form type for your chosen programme of study. 

In order to complete your online application form, you will be required to provide the following information:

• Personal details
• Your education and qualifications already achieved and details of any qualifications that you are currently studying for (if applicable)
• The names and addresses of two academic referees
• A Personal Statement
• Supporting documents (for example, degree certificates / transcripts, English Language evidence if you are not a native English speaker, CV, samples of academic work).

Step 2: Pay application fee

Once Durham University Business School receive your online application form, you will receive an automatic email within 48 hours asking you to pay the £60 application fee which is required to progress your application. You’ll need to follow the link in the email to the webpage where you can confirm your details and make the payment using a debit or credit card.
