Study In USA: Arkansas State University, Admission Application For Summer 2018 For Undergraduate And Graduate Programs.

Applications are now open for summer session at Arkansas State University for international students pursuing undergraduate and graduates studies. Arkansas State University (A-State) established in 1909 is a public research university and is the flagship campus of the Arkansas State University System, the state's second largest college system and second largest university by enrollment. Today, the institution has more than 80,000
alumni. Programs at the specialist's, master's, bachelor's and associate degree levels are available through the various colleges: Agriculture, Engineering & Technology, Business, Education & Behavioral Science, Liberal Arts & Communication, Nursing & Health Professions, Sciences & Mathematics, and Undergraduate Studies.

Admission Criteria For Undergraduate Studies


  • Academic

Official Copy of High School Diploma and
transcripts in native language with translation in English. Minimum required Grade Point Average is 2.3/4.0
* Please note that all of the Academic Transcripts/grade reports and Graduation certificates/diplomas/degree sheets should have the original stamp from the Issuing authorities and should come in their sealed envelopes.

  • English Proficiency
Incoming Undergraduate international students must provide any of the following:
TOEFL-Paper Based: 500 
TOEFL-Internet Based: 51 
IELTS: 5.5 
PTE (Pearson Test of English Academic):43 
SAT scores: 550 (total on the Evidence-Based Reading/Writing score)
ACT scores: 21 (total, and on reading and English sections).
English proficiency requirement may be waived for citizens of the following countries: Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Canada (except Quebec), Dominica, Ghana, Ireland, Nigeria, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom.

Admission Criteria For Graduate Admission

ACADEMIC CRITERIA
International applicants for graduate admission must provide the following:
  • Copy of University Diploma or Provisional Graduation Certificate without any conditions stating that Bachelor’s Degree will be awarded in native language with translation in English
  • Copy of all University Transcripts in English with a minimum GPA of 2.75/4.0 (some programs might require higher GPA)
  • Copy of all University Transcripts in native language with translation in English. Minimum required Grade Point Average (GPA) is 2.75 /4.0 for graduate school. Conditional Admission does not guarantee admission into graduate program.
  • All of the Academic Transcripts/grade reports and Graduation certificates/ diplomas/degree sheets should have the original stamp from the Issuing authorities and should come in their sealed envelopes.
PROOF OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
Incoming graduate international students must meet one of the following criteria:
TOEFL-Paper Based: 550

SAT scores: 550 (total on the Evidence-Based Reading/Writing score) 
ACT scores: 21 (total, and on both English and Reading section.
