Study For as Low as €1,750 at KU Leuven, Belgium.

Application for admission is now open for masters and Undergraduate studies at KU Leuven. KU Leuven also known as the University of Leuven, is a research university in the Dutch-speaking city of Leuven in Flanders, Belgium. With it's main campus in Leuven it also has satellite campuses in Kortrijk, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, Ostend, Geel, Diepenbeek, Aalst, Sint-Katelijne-Waver and in Belgium's capital Brussels. The university conducts teaching, research, and services in the sciences, engineering, humanities, medicine, law, and social sciences. KU Leuven is the largest university in Belgium, as of 2015 more than 55,000 students were enrolled. KU Leuven is consistently ranks among the top 100 universities in the world. As of 2016-2017 it ranks 40th globally according to Times Higher Education, 79th according to QS World University Rankings, and 93rd according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities.

How to apply for admission into masters program

Step 1: Complete online application
To start your application at KU Leuven, login to the web application and complete your personal data (personal data, addresses, curriculum and languages). Fields marked with * are obligatory. After saving your data, return to the main page (button on top of the page) and check the completeness of each section.

Step 2: Add application
You have to complete your application(s) by
clicking the 'Edit' button on the right of the
application
  • Add an application by clicking the '+' button in the Applications section on the main page of the web application
  • Select the academic year 
  • Choose the type of programme
  • Choose your specific programme by using the search tool
  • Complete any additional information that is requested
  • Save the data

Step 3: Upload attachments
After saving your application, you must upload all required documents as attachments in the 'Attachments' tab in PDF files. Click to see each programmes admission requirements.

Step 4: Pay application fee
For each submitted application an application processing fee of EUR 50 is required. The application fee can be paid via online payment within the web
application ('Application fee' tab) or bank transfer. Upload the proof of payment as an attachment (Attachment type: Proof of payment of the application fee). Please note that application fees paid after deadline will not be refunded.

Step 5: Submit application
Submit your online application. Please note that if one or more of the core documents are missing you will receive an error message. Upload the requested documents before resubmitting your application.

Step 6: Send certified hard copies of diplomas and transcripts of
academic records
After completing your online application, please send the certified copies of your diplomas and transcript of records and their translations (if applicable) in hard copy to:

* Please add a photocopy of the identity page of your passport and clearly mention the application number(s) on this copy. Every application you submit is identified by a unique application number that can be found on the web application.

Tuition fee:
The current tuition fee is €906.10 for EEA/EU students and €1,750 for non-EEA/EU students.

Admission deadline:
  • 1 March for applications of non-EEA citizens
  • 1 June for applications of EEA citizens
  • 1 June for applications of non-EEA citizens living in Belgium with a valid residence permit.
