Vytautas Magnus University welcomes international students to apply for Master degree study programmes and Bachelor
degree programmes which are all in taught
English language. Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is a public university in Kaunas, Lithuania. The university was founded in 1922 and it is one of the leading universities of Lithuania, has now about 8,800 students, including Master and Ph.D. candidates. It has more than 1000 employees, including approximately 90 professors. Vytautas Magnus University is currently ranked among the top 1000 universities in the world by 2015/16 QS World University Rankings.

International or foreign students are offered 8 BA and 21 MA full-time degree studies. Most of VMU’s faculties also offer hundreds of part-time BA or MA level courses.
As of 2016, studies at VMU are offered by 10 faculties ( Arts, Catholic Theology, Economics and Management, Humanities, Informatics, Law, Natural Sciences, Political Science and Diplomacy, Social Sciences, Music Academy). Aside from the impressive 29 BA and MA full-time degree programmes in English, together they offer over 90 degree programmes, as well as integrated studies of law and postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
