Study In Belgium: University of Hasselt Master Programme In English.

University of Hasselt is delighted to accept application from international students into their English taught programmes for masters studies. University of Hasselt (UHasselt) is a university with campuses in Hasselt and Diepenbeek, Belgium. It was officially established in 1971, and today it has approximately 6,000 students with over 1,000 administrative staff. UHasselt offers various programmes in the field of Medicine and life sciences, Law, Engineering technology, Sciences, Business economics, etc.

Courses available for masters program in English language are:
  • Master of Management
  • Master of Biomedical Sciences
  • Master of Statistics
  • Master of Interior Architecture
  • Master in Transportation Sciences
  • Master in Transportation Sciences by distance learning.
Admission Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree diploma and transcript: If the diploma is not in English language it must be translated to English by an official translator.
  • English language proficiency: English master's programmes must be able to prove that they have a sufficient command of the English language, both spoken and written. As proof of your level of proficiency in the English language, UHasselt requires recent results of a Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) or other recognised language test. You can be exempted if your knowledge of the English language can be proved otherwise (e.g. if you have already successfully completed (a part of) a programme given in English). TOEFL score: paper based: minimum score of 550, computer-based: minimum score of 213 Internet- based: minimum of 79-80. UHasselt TOEFL institution code is 9005. IELTS score: overall band score 6.0 or more.
